Beekenkamp Group joins forces in three companies: Beekenkamp Plants, consisting of Vegetables and Ornamentals, Deliflor Chrysanthemums and Beekenkamp Packaging. This combination gives Beekenkamp a unique position in the market. Together, we provide our customers with the best quality chrysanthemums, plant varieties and sustainable packaging, making the world a little greener every day.

2021
Beekenkamp Group celebrates 70th anniversary.
2022
Opening new Beekenkamp Research and Development Center.
2023
Expansion of a new location of Deliflor: Deliflor Hoogveld.
1951
Establishment of vegetable plant nursery by Govert Beekenkamp.
1980
Purchase of Lyraflor Chrysanthemums took place.
1982
Beekenkamp Packaging starts custom development of trays, among other things.
1993
With the acquisition of Leen de Mos Tropica, Beekenkamp starts with potted and bedding plants.
1995 - 2005
Set up production sites in Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia.
1998
Starts own breeding program and the name Lyraflor changes to Deliflor.
2008
Deliflor expands into Latin America and Japan and acquires Florema Young Plants.
2010
Packaging is developing the Quick-fold tray, an innovation that saves space and costs.
2015
Beekenkamp Group has been selected family business of the year by the Hillenraad.
2016
More space for growing fruit vegetable crops in 's-Gravenzande.
2018
Strengthening the Beekenkamp Group Executive Board.
2019
The BKX tray, a sustainable innovation, is introduced.

Good business
We also work to contribute to a better world. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are seventeen goals to make the world a better place by 2030. Beekenkamp Group contributes to eight of these goals where it can. For convenience, we group these goals into two categories, Human Well-Being and Biodiversity. We don’t claim to have all the solutions, but where we can, we take responsibility. Without action, no results.
This category includes the goals: no poverty, no hunger, good health & well-being and quality education.
Together we ensure a healthy and safe working environment both in the Netherlands and at our production sites in Africa.
We focus on responsible consumption and production, climate action and improving biodiversity in water and on land. In the Netherlands, we are working on this by, for example, reducing the use of plastic and ensuring less waste. We are also reducing the use of chemical pesticides and there are plans to plant trees in Africa.
Automation, digitization and mechanization are keywords within our production process. Within Beekenkamp we are constantly working on renewal and innovation, which makes every year different and challenging.
